Dear Brothers and Sisters:
It is with deep sadness that I must inform you of the unexpected passing of Julia S Christiano, State Recording Secretary Emeritus of the Grand Lodge of Connecticut, OSIA, on Thursday, September 4, 2008.

Julia (Julie) was a life long and very active member of the Pietro Micca Lodge #744 in Norwalk CT. Julie was very actively
involved in all aspects of the Lodge and was at the Lodge just last week helping them prepare for this weekend's Oyster Festival in Norwalk. Julie was always ready to roll up her sleeves and work for the Order and when asked to help out, she hardly ever refused.
As an Emeritus member of the Grand Lodge she remained very active and attended the most recent Grand Lodge convention held this past June. Her passing will be felt deeply at both the local and state level.

Calling hours are Sunday, September 7th from 2:00 P.M. - 5 P.M. at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St New Canaan. Members of OSIA will gather at 4:00 P.M. for the OSIA ritual. Expressions of sympathy or mass cards may be sent to her son Michael Christiano 90 Summer Street New Canaan, CT 06840. A mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday, September 8, at 10:00 A.M. in St. Aloysius Church
in New Canaan. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Norwalk, CT.

The Grand Lodge of Connecticut OSIA extends its deepest and most sincere condolences to the Christiano family. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time of loss.
